This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Smart Point website or request a demo, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
Contact form: your name and phone number, and — if you choose to give them — email address, business name, business type and number of branches. Website: standard technical data such as IP address, browser, pages visited and approximate location, collected through cookies or similar tools.
2. Why we collect it
To respond to your demo request and follow up about our products; to prepare a proposal that fits your business; to run, secure and improve the website; and to meet legal obligations. We do not use your details for purposes unrelated to Smart Point.
3. Legal basis
We process contact-form data because you asked us to get in touch (performance of a contract or steps before one) and, for follow-up marketing about our products, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run the business — hosting, messaging (including WhatsApp), analytics and CRM tools — under contracts that limit what they may do with the data. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Demo-request details are kept for as long as we are in contact about a possible purchase and for up to 24 months after the last contact, unless you become a customer, in which case they form part of your account records.
6. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and regular reviews to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us at once if you believe your data has been compromised.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to stop marketing contact, or to explain how we use it. Write to the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
The site uses essential cookies to work and, where you allow them, analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the current version and its date are always published here.
